Technical posts (Manager, Deputy Manager, Project Superintendent, DPO Technical/Design): Full-time Engineering Graduate (60%; 55% for SC/ST) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Naval Architecture or related disciplines.
Dy. Project Officer (Civil): Engineering Graduate in Civil Engineering.
HR posts (Manager HR, DPO HR): Graduate plus a Post Graduate degree in Management (HR / Personnel Management / Labour Laws) or a degree in Law.
Safety / Fire Safety posts: Engineering Graduate in any discipline plus a one-year Diploma in Industrial Safety or Fire Safety.
Shortlisting:
Candidates who meet the qualification, experience and other criteria are shortlisted, usually up to six times the number of vacancies, based on the marks secured in the qualifying degree.
Interview:
Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview, conducted either online (video conference) or physically at HSL. It may include a group discussion and a screening round.
Original certificates are verified at the interview stage, and selected candidates must clear a medical fitness test before joining. Permanent posts carry a service bond.
