₹2,000/month to female heads of BPL/APL households in Karnataka for financial empowerment

Gruha Lakshmi is one of the five guarantee schemes launched by the Karnataka government in August 2023. The scheme provides ₹2,000 per month to the female head of every BPL and APL household in the state.

The scheme aims to empower women financially and give them direct control over household finances. Over 1.15 crore women are enrolled and receiving monthly benefits.
