The Ashirwad Scheme provides ₹51,000 financial assistance at the time of marriage to daughters of BPL and scheduled caste families in Punjab. The scheme helps families meet marriage expenses and reduces financial burden on poor households. Formerly known as Shagun scheme, it was enhanced and renamed Ashirwad.
