UP Gopalak Yojana is aimed at promoting dairy farming and self-employment among unemployed youth and farmers in Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries can set up dairy units of 5 or 10 high-yielding cows/buffaloes with bank loan support and government subsidy.

The scheme provides bank loans of up to ₹9 lakh for 10-animal units, with a 25% subsidy from the state government making it highly affordable for rural entrepreneurs.

After bank approval, loan is disbursed and animals purchased
