The Uttar Pradesh government runs three pension schemes under the SSPY portal for vulnerable sections of society: Vridhavastha Pension (Old Age), Vidhwa Pension (Widow), and Divyang Pension (Disabled).

Each scheme provides ₹1,000 per month (₹500 from state + ₹500 from centre under NSAP) directly to the beneficiary's bank account on a quarterly basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Vridhavastha Pension: Age 60+ years, UP domicile, income below ₹46,080 (rural) / ₹56,460 (urban)
Vidhwa Pension: Widow aged 18–60, UP domicile, income below limits
Divyang Pension: 40%+ disability certificate, age 18+, UP domicile
Must not be receiving any other government pension
BPL / below income limit families preferred
