Annual scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/General-EWS students studying Pre-Matric (Class 9-10) and Post-Matric (Class 11 & above)

The UP Scholarship Yojana provides annual scholarships to students from backward classes, minorities, and economically weaker sections studying in Class 9 onwards. Scholarships are applied for through the centralized scholarship.up.gov.in portal.

There are two types: Pre-Matric (Class 9–10) and Post-Matric (Class 11, 12, graduation, post-graduation, technical courses, etc.).

Covers tuition fee, exam fee, and maintenance allowance

Permanent resident of UP
Studying in a recognized institution in UP
SC/ST: no income bar; OBC: family income below ₹2 lakh; General-EWS: below ₹2 lakh; Minority: below ₹2 lakh
Must not be receiving another scholarship
Minimum 50% attendance required
