What is the SSC CGL Tier 1 syllabus?
SSC CGL Tier 1 consists of 4 sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 Qs), General Awareness (25 Qs), Quantitative Aptitude (25 Qs), and English Language (25 Qs). Total 100 questions for 200 marks in 60 minutes.
Is there negative marking in SSC CGL?
Yes. In Tier 1, 0.50 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. In Tier 2, 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer in Paper I, II, and III.
What is the SSC CGL Tier 2 syllabus?
Tier 2 Paper I covers Maths, Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Paper II is for JSO posts (Statistics). Paper III is for AAO posts (General Studies: Finance & Economics).
Can I choose Hindi or English in SSC CGL?
The English Language section is in English only. All other sections (Reasoning, Maths, GA) are available in both Hindi and English.
Is the SSC CGL syllabus the same every year?
