The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through its Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), has released Advertisement No. 157 for the direct recruitment of 33 Scientist posts — Scientist ‘C’, Scientist ‘D’ and Scientist ‘E’. 🎓 Educational Qualification

• Engineering streams: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

• Science streams: Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Oceanography, Pharmacology, or Physiology (for the relevant posts).

• Scientist ‘C’: minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Scientist ‘D’: minimum 7 years of relevant experience

• Scientist ‘E’: minimum 11 years of relevant experience

  
  

  You need a First Division degree in a relevant discipline:

✅ Selection Process

1. Administrative Screening of your application (age, qualification, experience)

2. Technical Screening based on your biodata by an expert committee.

3. Preliminary Online Interview (held only if a large number of candidates are shortlisted).

4. Final Personal Interview before the Selection Board at RAC, Delhi.

   
   

   There is no written exam and no GATE requirement for this recruitment — selection is based on screening and interview.

   Final selection is purely on merit in the Final Personal Interview, where you must score a minimum of 75% to be considered. Because there is no written test, your degree, experience and interview performance matter the most.

💰 Salary Structure

Note: In addition to basic pay, candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per 7th Pay Commission recommendations.
