Indian Navy Agniveer (Apprentice) Recruitment 2026

The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried male candidates for Agniveer (Apprentice) entry under the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. This is a wonderful chance to serve the nation at sea while earning a respectable monthly package of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 along with insurance cover and the Seva Nidhi benefit. The online application window is open from 05 June 2026 to 29 June 2026. Candidates are selected through the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET 2/2026) followed by a Physical Fitness Test and medical examination at INS Chilka. The Agniveer (Apprentice) entry is specially meant for candidates holding an engineering diploma, and recruitment is done batch-wise (01/2027 and 02/2027). The Indian Navy operates under the Ministry of Defence and recruits Agniveers under the Agnipath Scheme for a four-year engagement under the Navy Act, 1957. The selection is completed in two stages — a written entrance test followed by physical and medical screening.

💰 Salary Structure

Note: In addition to basic pay, candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per 7th Pay Commission recommendations.
