SSC CGL 2026 – Combined Graduate Level

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026 recruitment notification for 17,727 vacancies across various Group B and Group C posts. 🎓 Educational Qualification

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• For posts like Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor's degree with Statistics as a subject in Class XII or Graduation level.
• For Compiler posts: Bachelor's degree with Economics / Statistics / Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
• Final year students who will complete their graduation before the cutoff date are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates with CA / ICWA / CS qualifications are also eligible for certain accounting posts.

✅ Selection Process

1. Tier I – Computer Based Examination (CBT): Objective Multiple Choice (200 marks, 60 minutes)
2. Tier II – Computer Based Examination (CBT): Paper I (Compulsory for all), Paper II (for JSO/Compiler posts), Paper III (for AAO posts)
3. Skill Test / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): For shortlisted candidates based on post
4. Document Verification (DV): Original certificates and testimonials verification
5. Medical Examination: For posts requiring physical fitness standards

💰 Salary Structure

Note: In addition to basic pay, candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per 7th Pay Commission recommendations.

📝 How to Apply

1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in
2. Click on "Apply" and then select "Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026"
3. Complete Part-I Registration: Enter personal details (Name, Father's Name, DOB, Gender, Category, etc.)
4. Complete Part-II Registration: Enter qualification, experience details and upload photo & signature
5. Upload Photo (20 KB–50 KB, JPEG) and Signature (10 KB–20 KB, JPEG)
6. Select preferred Exam Centres (maximum 3)
7. Pay application fee online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI
8. Submit the form and note the Registration Number for future reference
9. Download and print the application form for your records
